Universal’s Islands of Adventure today announced the closing of the park’s two iconic dueling Bolliger & Mabillard inverted roller coasters, titled Dragon Challenge: Hungarian Horntail and Chinese Fireball. The coasters will close on September 4 to make way for a brand new Harry Potter-themed roller coaster, set to debut in 2019. The park confirmed that Dragon Challenge’s replacement will “be unlike anything we’ve ever done before and it will be fun for the entire family.”

Park fans have slated Dragon Challenge’s closure for years after past incidents regarding riders’ loose articles falling out of pockets and hands and crashing into the opposing train’s riders. Additionally, some fans of noticed that the spiraling track takes away from the Wizarding World’s immersive theme.
