In the past year, Six Flags parks all over North America have added virtual reality experiences to many of their roller coasters. Now, Six Flags Over Georgia has unveiled their latest plans to add virtual reality to a 200 foot Intamin drop tower: Drop of Doom VR.
Riders will begin their journey by ascending 100 stories while teetering off the edge of a helicopter. Then, they will fight off life-sized spiders that are attacking the surrounding city before plunging down and battling a final, gigantic spider.
However, Six Flags Over Georgia warns that Drop of Doom VR is available for a limited time only, so it may be wise to visit soon after their opening day on March 11 to ensure that the ride is open. For more details, visit Six Flags Over Georgia’s Website.
