Six Flags has just made their 2017 announcements! All the details on every park’s rides are below.

Six Flags America

Six Flags America has announced WONDER WOMAN Lasso of Truth, a 24-story Fun Time StarFlyer to open for the 2017 season. This is a well-needed addition that will create a more balanced array of rides for families.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom has announced WONDER WOMAN Lasso of Truth, a Zamperla Giant Discovery, to open for the 2017 season. While its location in the park is not confirmed, it is speculated to replace the go-karts in Joker Plaza, soon to become DC Universe.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas

While many were expecting a brand new roller coaster for Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the park surprised fans by announcing Thunder Rapids, a unique water coaster, to open next season at the park. Note that Thunder Rapids is advertised as a water slide/roller coaster combination. There is also a Mardi Gras festival going to the park for the 2017 season.

Six Flags Great Adventure

To no surprise, Six Flags Great Adventure announced the fifth installment of JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis, a Sally Corporation dark ride. From the teaser, the dark ride appears to be the same as every other clone thus far.

Six Flags Great America

Six Flags Mexico announced The New Revolution, Mexico’s first virtual reality roller coaster. While this has not been confirmed, based on the video we can speculate that the VR will be on the new-for-2014 Rocky Mountain Construction hybrid coaster Medusa: Steel Coaster. The VR addition will also rename and retheme Medusa: Steel Coaster as The New Revolution. There is also a Mardi Gras festival going to the park for the 2017 season.
